It is a must because it marks the start of the day.(Side note, I love to cook so anything to do with cooking is not considered a chore)
Number 10, My dream job, I wouldn't mind being the personal chef in the White House (I really don't care who the President is, it's cooking for so many different heads of state that appeals to me)
#9 I have no idea, I am sure it as something very simple (and probably in bad taste, I was a kind of "Black leather jacket, rebel without a cause kind of person at that time in my life)
#8Missing talent, I would like to play a balalaika. It you remember the theme song from "Dr. Zavargo" (Spelling is wrong)it was played on a balalaika.
#7 Walk my dog before I've had my tea. It's between 4:30 and 5 a.m. I love my dog, but he keeps crazy hours.
#6 I have two, "Danny Boy" and "One toke over the line" and it they really get into a music thing, "What a difference a day makes" might be a nice touch.
#5Dead would be a cup of green tea with Lao-tzu so he could explain the Tao as he would like it read in the 21st century. Living would be a couple of beers with Bobby Flay, just talkin - cookin.
#4Biggest fear, After I leave this life, I wake up to find that it really is The Matrix, and I'm not Neil. Choking to death on a chicken bone runs a close second.
#3What is a Super power, I thing that means different things to different people. If I were to have one super power it would need to be something to do with the human mind. With the proper use of the mind I believe everything is possible, thus the other powers would be within ones reach.
#2I was raised in Foster homes, but I believe that my real parents could not understand the Rebel without a cause, long hair, lifestyle I chose at the time.
#1My guilty pleasures. I really don't know, I try not to feel guilty about much and I try to make most of what I do, a pleasure...as the saying goes "Life is to short to drink bad Wine"Chef Williamhttp://healthyfoodanddiet.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2390992967020892932.post-30669416872197864682012-07-27T15:04:52.205-04:002012-07-27T15:04:52.205-04:00Questions for readers via Holly, my answers…
1. Gu...Questions for readers via Holly, my answers…
1. Guilty pleasures? … I know what the intent of the question is, but to be honest, I am not guilty about anything I like or makes me feel. I refuse to feel guilt over anything I like during my experience on this planet.
2. Disappointed my parents? … Good question! Oh fuck me. When didn’t I? I think the major one was when I was expelled from high school. Was on the honour roll that year too. Decided to assault another person. They lost teeth, my infamy grew, I was expelled, and criminally charged. Not my proudest moment, but not too many people thought it was a good idea to use me as a scapegoat after that, so win win.
3. Super power? Hyper pheromones just like Spider Woman. Wow is Spider Woman ever HOT! I’d probably do anything for her… Point proven.
4. Biggest fear? … Eternal loneliness. And spiders. Fuck spiders.
5. Beer or coffee with ANYONE? … Another toughie. I have three. Leonardo da Vinci, the man was brilliant, anyone who rolls with him probably becomes smarter by osmosis. The Devil (of Christianity), alright mate, I’ve heard the other side, what’s your version? And my “sjalsfrande”, and that’s no one’s business but mine.
6. Song at my funeral? … “Ashes to Ashes” by Faith No More
7. Mundane thing I wish I could do without? … Cigarettes. Man, I hate these things. For now they have me… But I am trying.
8. Talent I wish I possessed? … The ability to draw, definitely. I envy artists as they turn their thoughts into paintings or sculptures. I have the ability to manipulate words and express my thoughts on paper, but since most of the world seems to hate to reading, or only has time to look at the pictures, it is quickly becoming a useless talent. Maybe I should start writing with crayons?
9. High school prom outfit? … Sadly I abstained. But had I gone, I would’ve looked pretty dapper. Well-tailored black tuxedo, kickass shoes, and some sort of accessory with just the right amount of green.
10. Dream job, with no extra training? … A photographer for Playboy. And not JUST because of the naked girls. It would be an opportunity to be around some brilliant journalists, and feel a part of a major cultural movement of the last 70 years. And did I mention the naked girls?
11. Favourite household chore? … Doing the dishes! When I was young, my Gram always had me help her clean up the kitchen. We would talk and listen, she would share her wisdom, or jokes with me. To this day, my hands in a sink full of water and soap is a soothing, centering exercise.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01771451049703527636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2390992967020892932.post-64240903667977402072012-07-27T15:03:53.671-04:002012-07-27T15:03:53.671-04:00Questions for Holly via Cheri, but my answers…
“Le...Questions for Holly via Cheri, but my answers…
“Let’s rock and roll, shall we”
1. What makes me get out of bed? ... The potential for love. I’m a hopeless romantic. There is no better feeling than falling. I’m falling right now. It’s great.
2. Tips for aliens? … Unless you have death rays, run for your lives and avoid humans at all costs. We already plan on stripping your alien world of resources and conducting cruel medical experiments on you.
3. My happy song? … I listen to “Baby’s On Fire” by Die Antwoord three dozen times a day. I have a giant crush on Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and the beat to that song is infectious.
4. Special place, real or imagined? … I once had a R.E.M. dream which encompassed years. I awoke with an entire new set of memories, in which I lived in Paradise with my “sjalsfrande”. In times of trouble, I retreat there, and focus on how happy a human being can possibly be… Because I know how happy a human being can be… And it makes people jealous.
5. Childhood fable and movie, stretched the imagination, and still with me? … My Gram made me read Tolkien as soon as I knew the alphabet. I finished LOTR by the time I was 8, so that stuck with me. Elves have serious philosophy issues about choice and immortality. As for a movie, The Princess Bride… I wish life could be as whimsical as it is in that movie… “As you wish…”
6. Perfect evening? … I love new experiences. Someone special I connect with turning me onto something new sounds fabulous! Then, of course, really connecting (wink wink nudge nudge say no more!)
7. What I wanted to be when I grew up? … An archaeologist. Thank you Indiana Jones. You instilled in me as a young man a passion for history, anthropology, and mythology. The real world started too soon for me, so it turned quickly into “employed”.
8. Favourite type of movie? … Any movie that deals with exploration of the human experience, change, and evolving. I hate when people say “I can’t change”… I reply “Yes you can, you are doing it right now, you just don’t notice”. Two of my favourite movies are “Trainspotting” and “The Fountain”.
9. Would I tell anyone if I won the lottery? … If I won the lottery there would be such a spectacle it would cause angels to weep and lament. They would fall from the sky with their wings smoldering. That would be hard not to notice. I would set up as many of my friends as I could, set myself up for a comfortable future, then take the rest of the money and chop it into two. One half goes to charity, the other half to a massive blowout with a level of decadence that would make Satan give me a high five.
10. Visit anywhere in the world? … The generic answer here is all of Europe. A dream vacation for me would be to take a year, and take my time exploring all these places I’ve only read and dreamed about. Reference from “Good Will Hunting” here… “I bet you can’t tell me what it smells like in the Sistine Chapel”. No, I can’t.
11. Believe in destiny? Absolutely. It just doesn’t always coincide with our plans. Ride the wave, you hit the beach.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01771451049703527636noreply@blogger.com
